The Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games will not be affected by the zika virus. Thats according to the British Olympics Association and the Japan Olympics Committee. They say increasing concerns over the zika virus will not affect athlete participation. Speaking in Tokyo on Febuary 8, Chairman of the British Olympics Association, Lord Sebastian Coe, reiterated enthusiasm among British athletes for the forthcoming Games.
