Yuko Hasegawa, one of the world’s foremost curators, and Professor at Tama Art University, Tokyo, who was visiting Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2014 talks about her impressions of the biennale: “This is not a top-down biennale, but a bottom-up biennale, and therefore authentic in nature, because there is a dialogue about the concerns of people, it is a corrective activity in that sense,” says Prof Hasegawa.
