Yamanote Line at Tokyo Station | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
Tokyo's most popular train line arrives and departs Tokyo Station during off-peak hours. BTW, the yellow line near the platform edge actually has bumps--for blind people. ("What is that bumpy yellow stripe for?" is a frequently asked question by friends who visit me in Tokyo.) Photos: http://photoguide.jp/pix/thumbnails.php?album=535

Wow!! This takes me back; hearing those melodies again really brings back fond memories of Japan. I was on the verge of crying; I thought I’ll never hear these melodies again. After listening to these melodies I feel like I’m in Tokyo, standing on the Yamanote line platform. I really want to be in Japan right now. I miss Japan so much! Thanks for sharing this, hugely appreciated!

From the speed it has attained by the time it leaves the platform this train appears to have an amazing rate of acceleration.

Sometimes I watch these videos to relax and to remind me of being back in Japan. It encourages me to do what I can to return for a longer period of time. Thanks for uploading. Like you said, mundane scenes seem to be treasured the most.
