The American Football League in Japan is one of the country's premier outlets to find native players batting it out on the gridiron in the popular North American sport. The United States Army Garrison Japan and its 16 supported installation sites are located in the island of Honshu and Okinawa in Japan. The USAG Japan mission is to support the Headquarters, U.S. Army Japan / I Corps (fwd) to ensure mission readiness and the quality of life of the Army community in a sustainable, transforming joint and combined environment. The USAG-J area of responsibility spans 1,500 miles from north to south of Japan. Camp Zama, home for both HQ USARJ and USAG-J is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Tokyo in the cities of Zama and Sagamihara in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The Camp Zama base cluster includes Sagamihara Housing Area and Sagami General Depot. Akasaka Press Center is located in the center of Tokyo. The Akizuki/Kure area near Hiroshima is an ammunition depot. Yokohama North Dock is a port facility in the city of Yokohama, a major commerce port and a popular shopping area. I don't know how the San Diego player didn't know that other countries where playing football. When I was at hs in Tijuana(Mexico) we played and won several games against teams in San Diego and South Cal

I'm glad to see other countries playing our sport. Too bad they don't have any lineman like we do here in the U.S.

I really respect these football players more because they basically don't get paid for this and have to practice and keep a day to day job, and they aren't bad to tell you the truth, obviously not nfl status but they have some athletes out there that are talented

Hey NFL, maybe try to play an international game in Tokyo? I mean, why do they need to play 3 or 4 games in London every year? Why not spread the International Series to not only England, but also Japan, Germany, Brazil, and Spain? That way, it's an International Series and not just a British series. Play 1 game in 4 different international cities a year. That'd be more enjoyable in my mind. Plus, maybe it starts to grow popularity in these areas.
