Shiodome (more details) Caretta Illumination: November 17, 2016 to February 14, 2017 (except January 1-2) From 17:00 to 23:00 The Caretta Shiodome hosts a vast ocean of LED lights. Nearby Shiodome City Center puts on its own illuminations. Shinjuku (more details) Minamilumi: November 9, 2016 to February 14, 2017 17:00 to 24:00 (from 16:30 in December) Illumination displays are found spread around the south of JR Shinjuku Station, especially on the Shinjuku Southern Terrace. Ginza (more details) December 3, 2016 to January 9, 2017 15:00 to 24:00 Christmas illuminations over multiple street blocks along Chuo Street and illuminations by many individual stores make the popular shopping and entertainment district even more colorful than it usually is. Roppongi Hills (more details) November 14 to December 25, 2016 17:00 to 23:00 (until 24:00 at 66 Plaza) The "Artelligent Christmas" event held at Roppongi Hills includes illumination displays around the base of Mori Tower and along Keyakizaka Street in the back of the tower. Tokyo Midtown (more details) November 15 to December 25, 2016 17:00 to 23:00 Tokyo Midtown's "Midtown Christmas" involves multiple illumination areas around the Midtown complex. The "Starlight Garden" is a particularly popular and attractive display located in the park behind the main tower. Odaiba (more details) Decks Odaiba: Around the year Sunset to 24:00 (longer on December 31) The Decks Odaiba shopping center offers illuminations around the year, including the "Daiba Memorial Tree". Several other places on Odaiba, such as Venusfort and Diver City, offer seasonal illumination events. Tokyo Dome City (more details) November 10, 2016 to February 19, 2017 16:00 to 25:00 Tokyo Dome City's winter illumination features an impressive collection of light up displays and events that can be enjoyed around Tokyo Dome and the adjacent amusement park. Marunouchi (more details) November 10, 2016 to February 19, 2017 17:00 to 23:00 (until 24:00 in December) The entire district lights up for the Maranouchi's holiday events. Illuminations and displays will take place especially along Nakadori Street, and at several of the buildings in the district. Omotesando (more details) December 1 to 25, 2016 Sunset to 21:00 The zelkova trees and shrubs lining Omotesando are decorated with five million LED light bulbs along most of the street's length between Harajuku and Omotesando stations. Akasaka Sacas (more details) Illumination: November 2, 2016 to February 19, 2017 16:00 to 24:00 Skating Rink (paid): November 23, 2016 to February 14, 2017 12:00 to 21:00 (from 11:00 on weekends), 1200 yen (rental: 500 yen) The Akasaka Sacas complex features an illumination event called "White Sacas" whose highlight is an outdoor skating rink. Yebisu Garden Place (more details) November 5, 2016 to January 9, 2017 16:00 to 24:00 Yebisu Garden Place features an illumination event called "Baccarat Eternal Lights" with a huge crystal chandelier, decorated trees and illuminated areas. Showa Memorial Park (more details) December 3 to 25, 2016 17:00 to 21:00 The illuminations at the spacious Showa Memorial Park are held in the area around the park's Tachikawa entrance. Trees and pathways are covered in lights, and other attractions include a lit up maze and train. There are fireworks on a few selected days.
