Shibu Onsen is where Japenese people come to be traditional, wearing yukata's & bathing in the 9 natural onsens that run through the town. The area is most famous for Jigokudani monkey park. Where wild macaques bathe in the hot springs during the winter months to avoid the cold Japan has many mesmerising areas. Of course, you should visit Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. However there are so many secret Japanese villages and towns that are off the beaten path, at least by western tourists.
