Please continue this series of eating out in Japan? I went to Japan in early 2015 and really struggled to find vegan/vegetarian food. I think this could be greatly helpful to tourists.
Have you tried T's TanTan in Tokyo station? -
That's awesome! I hope you get more and more vegan options for more peaceful cuisine! : )

Thank you so much for this video. I lived in Tokyo as a student for 6 months but had a difficult time finding vegetarian and/or vegan food. I made most of my food at home, but I wanted to enjoy what Japan had to offer. I really appreciate and love Peaceful Kitchen because it is quite inspiring. I will be living in Fukuoka soon and will try my best to look for vegan places there. Thank you!

I laughed when the waitress divided the menu up according to men's and women's preferences. You'd NEVER get away with that here! Personally, I wouldn't have known where to begin ordering from--it all looked wonderful. Thanks for posting : )

Thank you for this video! You should make more videos like this. It would be nice to see vegan options at non-vegan restaurants that you go to in Japan. :)

Hey there, do most of the Japanese people know what vegan is? For example if I go to a none vegan pizza place and order a cheeseless pizza and explain to them that I'm vegan will most of them understand? I'm asking this because where I'm from don't understand what vegan is and I have to explain. Not to mention there isnt a proper translation for it in my native language. xD

So wonderful to see. I am planning a trip to Tokyo, Kyoto and Okinawa in 2016 and I would love to visit that restaurant.
Please post more recommendations. -
I was looking through your old videos to see if you talked about restaurants in Tokyo. I'm happy to find this video! I've been to that restaurant before (it's only 5min from my work) and had their curry plate. It was quite nice. I felt it was a little bit expensive tho, but I understand vegan food is hard to find so it's "chotto oshare". :)
If you have a chance I recommend "MEU NOTA" in Koenji. I love that cafe even though I'm not a vegan person. They have great seasonal vegetables and their plates are beautiful and colorful. -
Thanks a lot for your videos. I think that you're doing a ~wonderful~ job and giving vegan people (like me!) another chance to try this amazing cousine that Japan has without hazarding one's values and morality.
I can't say enought ありがとう! m(_ _)m -
I went to the AIN SOPH. in Ikebukuro. When I got there it was 3 pm and it was closed until dinner time which was 5 pm. So I waited at a cafe nearby until a few minutes before 5 pm. People were waiting in line already and once I got in, I found out that you need to make an appointment first to eat there. That really sucked =(...
So if you are planning to go there I want to let you know that you need a reservation (at least the one at Ikebukuro) -
the hayashi rice looked delicious (i love hayashi rice and would love to try vegan one) will go there next year :) have you been there again and what did you get? any recommendations?
