We visit Kanada-ya - The Best Japanese Ramen Bar in London ? | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
Kanada-Ya was founded in 2009 by Kazuhiro Kanada in the small city of Yukuhashi on the southern Japanese island of Kyushu. The tonkotsu specialist launched its first international restaurant in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong in April 2014 and it was soon followed by Covent Garden London in September 2014. Offering an authentic ramen-ya experience (-ya roughly translates from Japanese to English as house) in a vibrant and homely setting, Kanada-Ya maintains a simple menu focusing on only the best and freshest ingredients. And in doing so they offer what many have praised as the best ramen in London, whilst staying true to their Japanese roots. As a specialist in tonkotsu ramen, Kanada-Ya's menu revolves around the rich and creamy pork-bone broth that is lovingly prepared for over 18 hours each day, resulting in its signature bubbly appearance and described as 'cappuccino ramen'. This, combined with their secret sauce and sweet chashu pork and fresh toppings form the perfect bowl of ramen. The best Japanese ramen noodle soup restaurant in London is a hotly contested between Kanada ya, Ippudo, Bone Daddies, Seto, Shoryu Ramen, Sasuke, Shoryu and Tonkotsu - so maybe I should review them all before deciding which is best http://www.robertslondon.com - To visit the Roberts & Co.
