Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
Hey everyone! I'm pretty sure you all know me at this point; but, if you don't, I make photos and videos! I also happen to fly planes and most importantly I am training for the 2020 and 2024 Olympic games! I am going to start vlogging my journey of life in an effort to not only hold myself more accountable, but to create a community that loves to be engaged! But first, coffee. This was a pretty terrible Vlog in my opinion but its my first one and they can only get better! ---------------------------------------------------- FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA! Hi Sid! After 3 months of constantly trying to straighten my hair with a relaxer. I finally got it! It didn't come out super straight like yours. It still has a little curl pattern, but it came out kind of wavy. I can live with that.
During the 3 months, I found out my hair is really coarse, thick, and resistant. It would take a super relaxer just to have a real effect. I was waited 4-6 weeks to do a corrective relaxer. But last week I screwed up again and decided to say "Fuck it" I'm going to do this corrective relaxer in 10 days and don't care if it gets damaged or overprocessed. I did some research on how to self relaxer properly and after 4 tries, I finally got it right. I exceeded over the time I was suppose to leave the relaxer in and my hair didn't fal out or get overprocessed.
But I'm going to need your help. What did you do to get your hair to reveal it's length and stand up? And how do you detangle it? This is my first time having REAL relaxed hair and I have hard time keeping the style I want under control. Every time I try to get it to stand up, it flattens down and starts to curl up into a Afro. To sum things up, my hair won't hold. And putting products like moose, hair lotion, hair spray, styling gel, etc makes it harder for the hair to stand up as well. What should I do to keep my thick/coarse hair detangled and undercontrol? I have a drop fade btw. -
Vlogs definitely get better with practice. Keep it up (:
