Someday in the future there will be claims for equal rights to paedophiles, for example, as everyone has the right of choosing their sexual behaviour. It'll sound extremist, crazy radical stupidity of criminals.., then liberal world defenders will protest in favour of it(I don't know how, but there may be some convincing arguments to defend the shit), and after some years of standoff, it'll pass! It came to my mind right now. I don't know whether its good or not, right or wrong. I know it sounds crazy and disgusting now, but culture changes over time, and this changing speed is increasing since conservative people are more and more likely to be deemed as squared, prejudiced, old fashioned, narrowed mind mothefu.. and so are trying to become more liberal in order to be more sensitive, open minded, smart, resilient excellent human beings. Maybe somewhat of conservatism is healthy for keeping some good cultural values created by us humanbrothers, maybe not?. Do you guys believe we're going to the "right/good" direction? Cultural changing is ALWAYS good? *(Lets assume that actions/attitudes that injure someone physically or emotionally is WRONG/EVIL.)

The birth rate in Japan is extremely low, so legalize same sex marriage could possible lead to more in-the-closet people coming out (from current relationship/marriage, as homosexuality still carry social stigma as we all know, honestly speaking, and people need a front for living a life), which MAY further suppress birth rate. Unfortunately, I don't think Japanese government is willing to take that risk, since they have expressed their concerns about that before, numerous time.
Japan's stale immigration policy and highly homogeneous/conservative cultural orientation also bar Japan from seeking alternative solution of their current economic and demographic problems, which MAY further hinder their process on legalizing same-sex marriage.
I remain a firm believer of pro choice and above statement is merely an opinion. -
no matter how many times i tell myself i won't, i always end up browsing the vice comment section (especially videos that discuss anything lgbt) and regretting it after 20 minutes of reading angry narrow minded ppl spout out their ignorant opinions on matters that don't in any way pertain to them lmao
