In Osaka, Japan, a man nicknamed "Uncle Rikuro" has been making these jiggly cheesecakes for 27 years. The cakes are so popular that there are always lines around the block. The cakes are best served hot, fluffy and jiggling. There are nine Rikuro Ojisan no Mise shops in Osaka city, five of which also sell freshly-baked bread and other delicious items like pudding, which is also featured in this video. The freshly backed cheesecakes comes out bouncing when taken out of the oven, and are branded with the signature Uncle Rikuro icon. They make batches after batches, and the cakes get off the skits as soon as they come out. Line ups can get pretty long, so make sure you don't go at peak hours. You can just purchase ones that had been baked few hours before. Sure they're not fresh out of the oven, but unless you & your party are going to finish the cake within the next 1/2 hour or so, it makes no difference. If you're visiting from Tokyo, it makes a great snake on the way home from Osaka! ^v^ Subscribe: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=JapaneseEats Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Japanese-Eats-1468578136763738
