tsukiji fish market...tokyo...supposedly world's biggest fish market (as told by locals thr)...also world's biggest fish auction to which we were witness...starts at 4:00 in da morn...n thn had fabs sushi in da local shops around da market...in short, a rockin xperience!!!!!!

Here in the Philippines its the opposite instead of yelling your bid, you will approach the seller the whisper your bid. Its called (bulungan)meaning whispering. I find these bulungan thing reflects some kind of corruption no transparency.

i woke up at 4:30 and went to see the tuna auction at 5:40 in the morning that too in heavy rain...but could not see as the quota of visitor was over....near by tiny shops were also pathetic....returned home soaked in rain water....not a place to sacrifice your early morning sleep.....pathetic experience....

those are tuna fish. initially i didnt know they are that huge. no wonder we only have tuna canned food in stores. haha.
