It's too bad that when you first beat Stage One and you have the miles for an engine swap, the swapped engine will heat up so quickly, you'll only last two or three races before your car overheats. You don't unlock the last engine cooling part until late in the game...

Ignore my last comment... I found that N/A rotary engine is the best option with its low weight and high output. It has nasty top speed (untuned N/A rotary can hit 183 mph) and its acceleration is brutal enough.

I got my engine swap unlocked today, but why are they all seem to be weakened compare to yours? In case of different cars? I'm using 300ZX in 1st stage by the way.

It is pretty much TXRZ, just with better graphics and more realistic physics. And yes, the performance level of every car has more to do with tuning rather than the base model. I used the Toyota Chaser through the whole game. Compare its performance in the first video to how it runs in the last video.

Is this game like txrz? Because you beat the r34 easily and I was thinking does it have that thing where it has cars that look exactly like another car but have weak performance? Not sure if I said that right

God Hand...or as you'd say it in the Japanese commercial...GODU HANDU!!! Just go search for it. It's awesome. If you wanna buy God Hand, it's on the PS2 as well and it should be pretty cheap to buy online.

For most cars the best engine is almost always the turbo inline 6, but with some cars it can be different. You just need to see what happens to the HP and torque while you're in the menus and choosing the engine.
