Great video. You didnt mention that Japan Post also accept foreign credit & debit cards too. Worth noting as most can be found near train stations.

Next month, Tokyo. For couple months to work. I was suppose to be located at Morioka, but then plans changed and now it's tokyo. It's kinda weird, I was preparing for semi-quiet city life in Morioka, instead now I have to prepare for buzzing loud noises and wild nightlive.

Grew up in Tokyo so I have no "before Tokyo," but can totally relate to what he said about comparing everything to Tokyo. Every city seems like such a tiny shadow of what a city should be - except maybe Hong Kong or Singapore; those have the size and the soul.

My wife and I are going to Japan in 03/2017 and have watched endless lists of videos about it. Yours has moved to the top. I like how you have addressed the real headaches of a traveler, from how to get transportation from the airport to the smallest details such as cash still rules there. I am a bit apprehensive but I am soooo looking forward to the trip, specially the food. Subscribed.
