Great hidden gem of a game. Hope the sequel improves the slow time in between survival rounds since I'm usually itching to jump back in as soon as possible.

I have a few tips, myself. 1.) Sleeping will usually Rerandomize the enemies, mates, weather, etc so use a nest when it gets dark, if there is bad/dangerous weather, a food shortage, dangerous enemies early in the game (tigers, lions, dinosaurs, etc), when you can't find a good mate, etc. 2.) dodge or jump then hold L1 (sneak) before you touch the ground and it will be silent as well. 3.) spamming dodge (R stick) usually allows you to get around quicker than just running. however, watch your stamina. If it reaches 0, you have to wait longer for it to recover than if you had at least 1 stamina remaining. jumping and some other actions also halt your stamina recovery briefly. I've noticed there is an exception to this: the Thoroughbred horse RUNS faster after full acceleration than spamming dodge. 4.) SAVE AND BACK UP YOUR FILE when you start to get far; Save at a nest, then quit the game, go to game > Saved Data Utility > Tokyo Jungle > copy to another user on your PS3 (make a new one if you need to). If your ran ends badly after you resume, delete your game save data, then go to the user with the backup file and copy it back to your main account to give it another try. 5.) Download the FREE DLC items! They add stats that are very rare (Hunger, stamina, life, etc) and never break! 6.) If you have some items to remove toxicity (pet food or medicine) and really need food, go ahead and eat toxic food and keep eating toxic food while you're at 100% toxicity, then clear it by using your item(s). WATCH YOUR HEALTH THOUGH. critical toxicity will kill you very fast, and it doesn't matter how much HP you have. your HP drains by a percentage.

Nah, that isn't a glitch. If you want to unlock story mode levels you need to play through survival mode. As you play through survival mode you'll find presents with USB sticks in them. After you find three or four USB sticks you'll unlock the next level of story mode.

Thanks for the tips man. Is there a glitch on chapter mode? After I've done the tutorial, I get no new level unlock? I've played the tutorial about 5 times and still I have had no level unlock

Thanks. I also have a few little tips for anyone else reading. 1. The bigger grazers such as the cow and horse cannot double jump or fit in to certain small areas. 2. If there are animals fighting ahead of you just run past as they are too distracted to notice you. 3. If you're desperate to mate and you can't get a prime female because you're a veteran and there's no food, try sleeping in a nest or leaving the area for a short time and sometimes she'll become an average female. Or vice versa :)

Thanks for the tips.

Really? That must make flee shampoo kinda useless. I've always been close enough to water to remove the flees using that method. I was just thinking they'd be annoying to have later in the game because imagine fighting a lion and stopping to itch in the middle of the fight, that would be like a death sentence.
