Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport) is one of the biggest in Japan, representing Tokyo metropolitan area since the opening of the airport as "Haneda Airport" in August, 1931. However, Narita International airport was opened in May, 1978 and it was constituted, A)Narita International airport handling international airlines, B)Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport) handling domestic airlines. Haneda Airport (which is nearer to the Tokyo downtown area than Narita Airport, and is superior in convenience of the traffic.) is expected now as an available international hub for 24 hours when the fourth runway-D and new international passenger terminal are founded to increase of the recent demand of the air service in October, 2010. In Haneda Airport consisting of two domestic airline terminals and one international terminal, we will introduce the international terminal founded in October, 2010 this time.
