I was looking for some side content to go along with my reads. Can always count on chibi for Tokyo ghoul coverage
-
'Crazy Hisoka 2.0' XD I think SHuu might actually be less crazy than Hisoka
-
The director was fresh in the industry, no one knew that tokyo ghoul would be that great, still the higher ups decided to make the budget and episodes minimum due to initial plans being already sorted out before the anime was released.
-
they did talk about RC levels in the anime with the old lady Ep.09
-
they changed SO MUCH! i went into tokyo ghoul as an anime only fan and personally, it had no impact on me when it ended, sure the fights and voice actors were cool. later decided to read the manga and i was on the verge of tears when kaneki was tortured! the manga beats the anime any day !! 👍👌

Swapping the arcs rounds made more sense for kenaki's development.
personally -
WHY AM I ONLY WATCHING THIS NOW???..
OMG!!!.. -
You should definitely talk about the changes to the ending of the manga vs. the anime.
-
Yes, I would love to see more comparison reviews of this series <3
-
"Ghouls might be a genetic experiment" how ironic.... Manga readers pls
-
Also about the Rize scene in the anime, it's just there to add to kanekis psychological state. Rize is not actually inside him like the kyuubi from naruto. Also small spoiler they show Rize just like they do in the anime in the aogiri arc in the manga
-
They explained the rc levels in episode 9 of the anime. Just saying. yeah it does suck that they skipped lots of stuff but honestly, assuming that they cover the whole aogiri arc, how would they fit all the details from 70+ chapters in 12 episodes? Idk why they decided for it to be 12 ep though, probably money issues, but they have to skip stuff to fit all 70 chapters. Personally I like the anime and I love that every episode thus far has a fuck ton of hype. The manga is obviously better but that doesn't mean the anime is shit.

The anime had shown Touka's brother before the latest episode too, bu they didn't show he was alive.
-
Chibi Rize was their for foreshadowing of chapter 89 SPOILER:
You see Rize again and two other one-eyed ghouls -
Ghouls have high rc levels because they eat human meat with human blood
-
plz do a Tokyo Ghoul manga review when you finish the anime cause there is literally no reviews of it.

there's also a spin-off mini-series (manga) starting as well, and that looks like a prequel of a sorts.
There's quite a few Quinque fanatics. And it actually comes with a particular purpose. While most quinque hunters treat them as trophys, since any investigator that brings in a ghoul in suitible condition for kagune extraction usually gets first pick if they want a quinque made from it or just passes it along for new recruits, Mado simply wanted a large variety of quinque so he could tailor his weapon to enemy he was facing (which is why he brought a koukaku quinque along for that battle since he knew the rabbit was a Ukaku ghoul (and brought his rinkaku just in case it was really Hinami as well since ghouls TYPICALLY inherit their kagune type from their mother and rinkaku beats koukaku, barring the rare ones that get their fathers type or the even more rare chimera-types that have BOTH parents kagune-types making them ridiculously dangerous even if at lower strength levels since it generally means they have no weaknesses to exploit (or can at least cover them a little better) unlike the typical single type ghoul.
Mado's joygasm over seeing Hanami's kagune was pretty understandable from both a collector and practical stand-point, since natural chimeras are nearly impossible to take in a condition that leaves their kakuhou in a usuable state for material due to the innate strength of having basically no weaknesses (especially in Hinami's case due to being a Rinkaku/Koukaku chimera, that with a little training and fighting spirit could easily be one of the deadliest characters in the series), while artifical chimera quinque have an extremely high failure rate during manufacturing and results in ruining the material if fails since they basically spaz out and destroy each other if they haven't been combined just right (and even then, some kagune are just flat out incompatible with each other based on their individual characteristics making a working quinque impossible or requiring an impractical design to make it work). -
Please please please review the Shui or aka the Gourmet Arc of the magna

Yes keep reading and compare! I love the manga but still follow the anime
