Tokyo Earthquake 2011-03-11 In Office | Tokyo

The earthquake started about 20 seconds before I started filming, Because it was going on so long I just hoped to catch a bit of it. I didn't know I'd catch the main tremors which happened after a minute. There was little actual damage in our area of the office but copiers and drinks machines fell over elsewhere.

At 1:35, you said "it's better if you go out" the building. I assume you're new to Japan? It is more risky if you stay outside during earthquakes. Falling windows will definitely kill you. We Japanese have a strong faith into our buildings.

I know that this was serious and fairly scary in person but on video it looks surprisingly just like someone is having a hard time holding the camera steady

Call me ignorant or dumb but never realised how long Earthquakes lasted. I thought they'd be quite quick but destructive but then again saying that 4 minutes isn't a long time on the scale of things. In the UK we rarely get earthquakes so I've never been in one.
