Tokyo during Tōhoku earthquake (March 2011) | Tokyo

This has been the longest and hardest quake I've experienced here in Japan. Tokyo was not affected by the tsunami and the buildings didn't collapsed (Thank God!) but the whole city became chaotic: the trains stopped, there were a huge traffic jam, tons of trying to go back home. When the trains finally resumed service there were packed.

Dude. I shit my pants here in CA when we just have a minor earthquake like a casual 3.2 that lasts for like 5 seconds... I'd cry hysterically if I experience anything like this...

Just thing your doing sugery and going have to cut a part next to the artery and one wrong move and the artery gets cut and the person dies about to do it then this earth quack hits and you cut it lol

Why do some Japanese people wear those surgical masks?

@blondeno1girl Definitely! Thank God it was mostly an inconvenience for the people of Tokyo. I'm not comparing just want to show some parts of Tokyo after the quake hit. I am still in shock by all the recent news.

But we in Tokyo are a damn lot luckier than the people in Miyagi, Iwate and Fukushima. Our experience was just inconvenience; theirs is of a major tragedy.
