TOKYO CULTURE STORY presents to you everything you need to know about Tokyo culture! ------ FASHION 1976年から2016年まで。東京のストリートを飾った82のスタイルを、時代を象徴するブランドや、現在は入手困難なアイテムでリアルに再現。 Using legendary brands and the rarest of rare pieces, 82 iconic looks from the streets of Tokyo during 1976 to 2016 are perfectly revived. ------ MUSIC シティポップからアシッドジャズまで合計15ジャンル。「今夜はブギー・バック (smooth rap)」を、時代をつくり続けている27人のミュージシャンがノンストップでカバー。 27 musicians repping 15 different genres, from city pop to acid jazz, play Tonight is Boogie Back (smooth rap) one after another. ------ TOKYO CULTURE STORYは、1976年から2016年までの東京カルチャーをアーカイブするプロジェクト。 プロジェクトを発起したのは、創業40年を迎えたBEAMS。編集協力はマガジンハウス。 過去を振り返るのではなく、新しい未来をみつけるために。 そのカルチャーは次の時代につながっている。 TOKYO CULTURE STORY is a project that archives Tokyo culture from 1976 to 2016.
