I went to the new Japanese market, Tokyo Central which had a soft opening today. The official opening is 01/22/2015. The market is much improved. It was purchased by the Japanese/ Hawaiian supermarket chain, Don Quijote and remodeled and renamed. It is no longer cramped and cold. It is warm and friendly. The restaurant has, not only sushi but a food bar with Japanese home cooking. It is reminiscent of the food bar at Whole Foods.
