Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics organisers on Friday (8th April) unveiled four finalists for the Games' new emblem. Tokyo's 2020 Summer Olympic organisers have unveiled four designs that are in the running to become the Games' official logo. The four designs were unveiled at a ceremony on Friday, and were picked from nearly 15,000 entries. Tokyo’s initial logo was scrapped last September due to accusations of plagiarism, which resulted in a Belgium designer suing the International Olympic Committee over the design. The new logo will be announced on April 25th. So let’s take a look at the potential winners. Option A is designed to evoke the elegance and sophistication of Japan through its traditional indigo blue colour. Option B is said to represent the connection between athletes and the spectators. Option C represents a runner crossing the finishing line. And finally, option D which represents athletes striving to attain a personal best. Source:pSNTV/p
