Three-way Coupled Pendulum & Neutrinos | What's The Gist Physicist? | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
This Physics demonstration of a three-way coupled pendulum, three identical pendula connected by two identical springs, has a surprising connection to the particle physics of neutrinos. Can you guess what it is? Have a crack in the comments... The neutrinos are like the springs, maybe?

Also, neat video! I've been needing to have the whole electron/muon/tau neutrino thing demystified for me for a long time; and it's even better because you can demonstrate it with such an elegantly simple object.
*subbed 😀👍 -
