This Is My City - Episode 6 - Tokyo | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
Tokyo presents Tim and Thomas with a significant language barrier and three hosts instead of the usual one. Tomo takes them on a fish-shopping trip with 'The Master' (a sushi chef) and then later on to his restaurant where they eat the spoils. With Masa, they go to a peaceful temple, multiple (less peaceful) arcades and a bar made of ice. Finally, Takeki (a J-Pop singer and classical composer) takes them on a tour of tiny amusement parks and even tinier sake bars. This is really awesome ! You should've done more.
-
So now the next question:are you planning a second season or was it a one lifetime experience? You should do it again!
-
I keep watching this episode and honestly guys: I would be really happy to
see more of it. And the choice of your songs! It got some of this Lost in Translation mood! Great. -
U guys bring a camera man, or are ya handing the camera off between u 2?
-
Nice little short video of Tokyo. You could make a massive series of just Tokyo alone. I'm planning to spend a year in Japan. I could probably spend just a year in Tokyo alone.
-
I love this series. I'm going to Japan in a couple of weeks thanks for inspiring me to explore. cheers!
-
Fact: arigato is a portuguese word
-
I wish you would've asked what the logic was behind the blurs in their pornos. Buttholes are ok.. but vagina is a no no

-
Please do a 2nd series!
-
Oh god, your Tokyo video is so tame compared to your Beijing one. But great video!
-
So far I've been watching all of your episodes, so it makes me kind of sad to see there are only two more left. I hope for more episodes in the future, great work guys!
-
When will u guys make more episodes? I think that your videos are great - tv great. The japan as well as the beijing episode are fantastic. But, as a serb, i was a little bit dissapointed about your guide who was promoting his music and his weird friends. What a fruitcake, alwas talking about history and stuff . There is so much more you could have visited, but ok :)

What's the name of the song that is played during the train ride towards Tokyo in the beginning?
-
Ah, Tokyo. It's definitely a great experience, but I prefer more relaxed countryside. Niigata prefecture and particularly Sado Island were my favorite places in Japan; it was beautiful. Everything was so green and alive and seeing all the farmland and talking to the locals was an unforgettable experience. For people looking for some great parks and nature (and some great rice), Niigata prefecture is great for that! Also they have the best fireworks in the wooooooorld!
-
Love your work guys. Your insights are so soulful and it's great to see how the locals live rather than just a tourist's opinion of a tourist attraction.
Keep making more episodes please :) -
I alredy share it! Great job! Come to mexico guys!
-
Cool. Yup, I will definitely go there! Thanx for the upload.
-
I dont understand how you guys dont have more subscribers. You both do a great job.
