Title says it all. This place is just incredible. I leave Tokyo to spend the night at a traditional Japanese Onsen. Onsen stands for hot springs. These onsen are very common all over Japan and are a must visit if you're in the country. I stayed overnight which not only gave me access to the beautiful baths but also allowed me to experience a very traditional Japanese dinner and a cosy night in a tatami room. Takaragawa onsen in Minakami is one of the most awesome places I have ever visited in my entire life! It is impossible to put into words just how great everything is.
