I work in Japan's diamond industry and one thing i can confirm is that this guy is full of shit. And so is vice japan. I'm a huge fan of the work vice does but this is complete 'やらせ'

Very little focus was put towards the supposed topic "Taking Down Tokyo's Corrupt Diamond Syndicate". There was one part in which Kyoji mentioned that he does not want to deal with other Japanese dealers. Aside from that, most of the focus was on outsourcing higher quality diamonds than available in the Japanese market etc. I'm not disappointed, just felt like pointing this out.

What an absolutely random guy... and these are the people who end up earning millions of dollars. Random guy from an office. I mean look at their offices and the way they deal. It looks less serious than buying a phone or something.

I could not sit back and NOT comment on this particular one....strange to see the Japanese guy working with and going to Israel for the diamond trade...quite sad...and made me cringe when he was embracing Israeli culture and people ( the real terrorists as the world knows ).

he seem like a sincere guy I wish him the best, but "nice family business" had me laughing. Does he have any idea who has just crawled into bed with. De Beers are one of the most corrupt organizations in the world, right up there with the Rothschilds.

I have no opinion about Vice per se. I generally like their videos, but this Japanese guy, now HE is very likeable! I would do business with him if I could. At least it seems that he would be honest and honourable. I can't really ask for more than that.

Am I the only one who learned nothing other than the wonder and glory of the establishment "Burlesque." That is my first stop next time I am in Tokyo.
