Space Engineers - Mobile Planetary Base, Tokyo Drift Style | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
So today I ended up getting a bit silly and the end result is probably the first base in Space Engineers to pull off a convincing drift.. It's a bit pointless, a bit laggy and quite a lot orange, but I still kinda like it :) Complete with all you need to survive in some crazy (and flat) Mad Max world! yes keep the quick build montage.... shows a bit more of how you think and how to go about building (stages). helps a lot. ty

would be nice if the ramp was doubled with a large airlock :)

it is a shame and a really big problem that the 5x5 wheels dont line up properly when i build a rover base mirrored...

Looks crazy awesome. Very nice.

I'm just wondering here... How awesome would it to have this craft able to hide the wheels using some rotors/pistons, and then deploy the rocketmotors and lift off (and then land again)!? I think some automated drills would also help the overall functionality :)

now we have oxygen and airtight hangar doors, you could add a 'pressure door' inside form the ramp, and another further inside the base, that way you could keep the main hangar bay depressurised for regular use but can pressurise it as needed, ie transfering just built vehicles from the construction area to the main bay.
just a thought.
timelapse is cool -
You should make a dropship that way you can have them moved at an point
