► "Shimpachi Shokudo" is a lovely little old-fashioned establishment located in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Their speciality is fish, fish and more fish. - Serving all kinds of grilled fish; Salmon, Sea Bream & Atka Mackerel to mention a few. First you choose the kind of fish you'd like to eat, then they'll show you a fresh piece of your fish of choice, and if you "accept" their offering, they will throw it on the open fire grill in the corner of the shop. A few minutes later, it'll be served with white miso soup, rice and Japanese pickles. And best of all, this tasty AND healthy meal will only set you back between 450 and 800yen. - Enjoy!
