Shot in Tokyo with a Canon 350D DSLR, processed with Lightroom (raw files color adjustment and resizing)/VirtualDub (deshaker/deflicker filters)/Sony Vegas (editing). I live in this great city of Tokyo, and I love watching time-lapse videos of it like this. I often wonder what people think of their own great cities like NY, London, Paris, Beijing, Rome, Seoul etc.

I know it's just bricks, electricity and neon lights... But there's something that keeps pulling me to this city. Even if it's just my fantasy.

Tokyo metro has more then 20 skylines, some of the bigger are Shinjuku, Shiodome, Yokohama, Marunouchi(Tokyo-station), and many many more.

I confirm, it is Shinjuku district area. Personally, I prefer Shibuya district area: the Shibuya Station and the 109 building intersection is so nice. The entertainment, the bars and the love hotels: the best place for hang over!

How did you get the exposure right on both the city and the sky? HDR? especially as the lighting changes, stilll nothing is blwon out or in shadow. How?
