This video/slideshow was taken on October10, 2013 at the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, TX. during a program for WWII veterans. Several former combat soldiers addressed the crowd, but the main attraction was Lt. Col. Ed Saylor. He is one of four survivors of the raid on Tokyo led by General James H. Doolittle in April 1942—just four months after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. All of the airmen were volunteers, not knowing they were on a one-way mission until they were on the USS Hornet on the way to Japan.
