DISCLAIMER: Before you comment, I have a true passion and love for tarantulas, these are one of my many pets. To the ones who feel disgusted by them, this is NOT a video for you. You need to realize that owning tarantulas is not only for pets but is also seen a hobby where people breed and sell them. there is even a forum for us hobbiysts to share our experiences (http://www.arachnoboards.com). They died because the mother packed the sac too tightly and too dry conditions. It had nothing to do with me waiting too late. I bred 2 tarantulas successful where one I left it hatch with the mother. Even though my first eggsac was a fail, I have a learned a lot about this experience, and I'll be better prepared for when I get my next eggsac. The tank may have been too dry, but now I know what to do.

tarantulas are not stamps for you to collect. they are living creatures and your comparison is less than appropriate. it's not a 'hobby', it's an experimental business for you to make money off of by taking advantage of animals.

Few questions on tarantulas (I'm actually planning on getting a turtle, but still curious):
1. How do tarantulas interact with other species of tarantula or the same one? Do they fight? Do they ignore each other?
2. Do you keep the babies? If so, how many live to adulthood?
3. Do tarantulas sometimes escape? Are they easy to find if they run off?
4. How long can a pet tarantula live? -
Can I have a few question? I wanted a tarantula, but I sorta wondered,
Do they bite?
Are they deadly or poisonous?
Do a bite hurt?
What it's like to be bitten?
And also, can I pet them?
I mean, do they like it?
I see many owners with spiders on their heads. I'm kinda afraid of them, but I'm trying to push this fear down and not lose my sh-t when one creeps up on me. I find them really cool.

is it really that hard to get this spider a decent terrarium? its a wandering type of spider which mean it WALKS AROUND. you shoved the thing in a terrarium hardly suited for a small orb weaver. and yes im sure the spider wil not die but geez man give it some space
