I used this at my son-in-law's over the week-end and it was fantastic on slicing sweet potatoes. I bought a V-slicer on the recommendation from America's Test Kitchen, and it was horrible! It had weird v cuts in the middle of most of the chips and it stained horribly. I would recommend this slicer and the price is great too.
