Mackenzie, a 14 year old fan, with flowers in her hair was summoned up up to the stage whose banner proclaimed that her father believed she was too young for a tattoo, but she'd love to have a hug from McCartney. He both agreed with her father (on the tattoo) and gave her a hug, along with an autograph on the copy of "Sgt. Pepper's" she happened to have with her. Don't know if it was staged or not, but was still pretty darn cute! Who Dat! OUT THERE is the concert tour by 72 year old English singer-songwriter, and former Beatles member Paul McCartney. After the June 19, 2014 Smoothie King Arena, New Orleans, Louisiana USA cancelled date, the concert was rescheduled for October 11, 2014. Sir Paul McCartney has resumed his concert tour after being forced to take nearly two months off due to a virus that left him in hospital. The former Beatle called off the Japan leg of the tour and a South Korea show after falling ill on 16 May and later postponed a number of US dates. He spent six days in a Tokyo hospital being treated for the viral infection. Before his illness, Sir Paul had last performed on 1 May in Costa Rica. He opened the show at the Times Union Centre with the Beatles' hit Eight Days a Week and dedicated a song, My Valentine, to wife Nancy."It's great to be back," he told the crowd during a three-hour set which took in nearly 40 tracks - a mix of solo hits, Wings songs and Beatles classics. Not to mention the out-of-this-world pyrotechnic, explosions, light and laser experience during "Live and Let DIe." Come back to New Orleans anytime - Who Dat!!!!! The first official show announced for this tour was the Warsaw show 4 May 2013. In this announcement, a statement stated that the "Out There! Tour" will "see McCartney and his band travel the world throughout the year, even visiting some places they've never been before." At the press conference the "Out There! Tour" will feature a new lighting rig, a platform to carry McCartney into the audience, and new songs into McCartney's live repertoire. McCartney's first live information for 2013 was announced on 19 February 2013. In a special webcast announcing the 2013 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, McCartney was confirmed as a headliner of the festival in Manchester, Tennessee. A historic return and final concert for McCartney at Candlestick Park in San Francisco was announced on 24 April after months of rumours and even a pledge from the mayor of San Francisco himself. McCartney performed in San Francisco last exactly a year and a day prior to the Candlestick Park date, at the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in 2013. This is a notable venue seeing as it held the final official Beatles concert in history. An announcement for a show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles came a day later. This will be another historic concert as the Beatles played their second to final official concert at the stadium in 1966, the day before the Candlestick Park farewell. He returned to New Orleans for the first time since 2002. The final date this tour is 30 October 2014, in South Carolina.
