*WE STORE OUR CLOTHES IN THE CLOSET TO THE LEFT OF THE WINDOW AT 2:24 (also seen in thumbnail). WHATEVER DOESN'T FIT GOES IN THE WHITE NITORI SHELVES. HOPE THIS HELPS CLARIFY ANY CONFUSION! CHEERS!* Hello ladies and gentlemen! Thank you all so much for your patience and support! Sorry it took us so long to finally film an apartment tour for you all! As mentioned in our first VLOG (please see link below), finding an apartment for our given situation was not easy at all. Many times, we felt that all odds were against us and that we would never find a place that we would at the very least be satisfied with. However, in the end all the hard work payed off and we did find a place that we are very happy with. For North American standards, this place is considered small as it is only 23m2 (248 square feet). For two people in Tokyo, this is personally perfect for us. Our apartment is in a great location, close to Shibuya (where the famous crossing is located). For anyone who is interested in moving to Japan, this is the company that we went with: R-Store Tokyo As always, please show us some love by giving us a like, subscribe, and comment in the section down below! Please feel free to submit any questions you may have for our Q&A video! Cheers! Gosh I didn't know there are so many Canadians in Japan. You must all be friends!:-) Anyway nice apartment, bright, clean and tidy. And thank you for displaying the prices of basic household items. That's very informative!

1590 yen?!
The green tree seems to be Japanese marple. But I might be wrong. -
こんにちは 私の名前はオリバーです, that is all I know how to say and write in Japanese and unfortunately I don't know if all of it is spelt correctly, anyhow, if I may ask, how many yens does an apartment go for?

I saw a lot of japanese's apartments on youtube but this is so pretty :)

The sight of the door mat barely stretching the width of the "Foyer" makes it kinda humbling.
-
very cool minimalist apartment!!! I love that bathroom. Maybe a folding table kept near the kitchen would provide some more surface for preparing food? : )

Gosh - I was born in Japan in the 50s and lived in Japan in the 60s. What happened to the tatami rooms and benjos. I guess they don't use squatter toilets anymore. Your apt is actually more space than my aunt's place in Tachikawa she had for a family of 2 adults and 7 kids.
