http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com The Mountain Travel Sobek group met for a farewell dinner in a Yakitori restaurant under the entrance to the Daimon subway station. Yakitori is grilled chicken speared on sticks and different parts of the chicken can be used. The plates of food didn't stop coming for the next two hours and each one, except for French fries, needed an explanation about exactly what we were eating. I developed a real taste for Plum Sake, one of many on a huge list (not that I could read the menu) and drinks also never stopped flowing. This delicious meal signaled the end to a short trip in Japan with still so much left to see and do, I was kicking myself for not extending it. Hindsight is always 20/20...
