15. Hmm, the way I see this possible ELE is in retrospect to the color purple. Unfortunately, there is no way to convince a lobotomized public now under the false assumption that election 2016 is so damn important to acknowledge the ugly truth about this ongoing disaster in Japan. Them media whores say we are in no danger or something stupid like radiation is good for you? When 9 out of 10 could care less about the eventual death of all our oceans, that's when we know we're in trouble. Even I was skeptical at first about those 3 out of 4 reactors going super-critical and breaching containment? However ,what convinced me that this emergency was the real deal can be summed up by that staggering number of huge metal tanks filled to the point of bursting with some highly contaminated H2O.
16. Not having a bird problem in Santa Rosa Ca 60 miles north of San Fran. Starlings, Jay's Redheaded wood peckers, several kinds of finches, we are seeing an increase of water fowl in our estuary's that have some restoration work. Lots of wild turkeys and 2 recent near by black bear sightings. The bears were wiped out in the 60's and are coming back. I have 2 kinds of ants trying to eat our sugar supplies. 3 kinds of flies no seen em annoying, small house flies and the nasty horse fly from our neighbors horse farm. We farm for a living too, tons of bees here and too many caterpillars we have to use Dr enzyme to fight the massive bug population with bacteria's. We imported100,000's of lady bugs too. Now oak black trees do have a new fungus, which is not related to sudden oak disease a brown fungus that kills leafs early. Sudden oak in the coast forests is seeing new fir trees filling the void along with bay trees which carry sudden oak disease. Yes there is tons of room for improvement but some of this speech is a bit far right and hype. Balance and truth always works.

    First, the ground was really wet.  Current could easily travel all over the soaking wet, saturated peat hill.
    
    Second, these mammals have legs that are far apart (compared to a human or bird, etc.) so the electricity travels through their entire body much more severely than it would in mammals with legs closer together.  [Yes, cattle are in more danger in a lighting storm than humans, birds, rodents, etc.]
    
    Third, SOME of the heads are missing in the pictures because, before this all happened, they were already looking for dead reindeer specimens to study their brains because of a recent outbreak of illness in the herds that was similar to Mad Cow disease.  This event provided researchers with a bunch of specimens!  They cut the heads off, then cut the horns off (for easier transport...) and took them away for testing.
