What to Expect The airport is divided into 3 terminals, T1, T2, and T3. Terminal 3 houses low-cost carriers so the space is much smaller and the facilities more basic. This airport is sleep-friendly with many modern Japanese conveniences, including clean facilities, lots of charging spots, and decent sleeping areas. Staff and security are tolerant of overnight guests, but you should be prepared to present ID and proof of your ongoing flight. Free WiFi is available. T1 is the most comfortable spot and security moves everyone to an area with benches and carpeting. Travellers have used the benches near the restaurants after they closed; it’s unclear if this is the same area the security guards corral everyone. Some travellers report that security staff did a routine check of passports and tickets to make sure everyone are travellers. Lights are turned down at night. T3 has a lot of bed-like couches.
