I peal the pumpkin with a peeler. But if you want to make the pumpkin softer you can put it in the microwave for a few minutes. And technically the peel is edible so.. :P

Greetings from Guatemala City, Guatemala! Over here (I'm sure Guatemalans are not the only ones who do what I'm about to tell you), we deal with pumpkins like this: We scrub and rinse the thing clean and cut it at least in half, or better yet--in quarters. Then we put it in a pot of water with a couple of pinches of salt and let it boil covered over medium heat until the "meat" is soft. The water level should be at about half the height of the pumpkin. The salt is optional. Let the pumpkin cool down before handling, or you can live dangerously like I do and hold it with a pot holder or oven mitt. Now you can scoop it out of its "shell" with a spoon and go on with your cooking. You will waste close to zero pumpkin this way. I hope this bit of advice is of use to you. 😊

Don't waste the pumkin skin it can be stir fried along with some vegetables and the seeds when deep fried its taste so good 👌👌👌......but good video though I enjoyed watching all your videos.....n you are so beautiful 😍😍😍

Normally I would get annoyed that you keep repeating the part about the chopping board being your counter space, but you're so nice I actually find it charming! Love your videos! I have a tiny apartment too. Maybe I'll film it soon!
