My personal experience: Japan's Suicide Forest (True story) | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
In the summer of 2014, I travelled to one of the most infamous places of death, Japan's suicide forest. My personal story in Tokyo, in one of their creepiest landmarks, Aokigahara. A beautiful place for those searching for horror and maybe even ghosts! Music Credits: Peder B. Helland (Lullaby of sorrow) Peder B. Helland (The past)

Wow. That picture you included of a street with a digital sign overhead and the sun setting has triggered a memory for me. I swear I dreamt about being there a couple of years ago. I was (and am) a young woman. I was walking amongst oriental people in a place very much like that photo and travelling up and down stairs/escalators as well. The street had different levels. There were white digital signs overhead and buses/bus stops around. Or it might have been trains/train station stops. I was oriental in the dream. I have never been to Japan or the far east in my life.

"Upon going there, I had always wanted to check out the suicide forest." That made little to no grammatical sense at all. Kill yourself. Kill yourself in a dense boner forest.

Forgive me, but I don't think the narrator really understands Aokigahara, or makes a true effort to do so. It seems like it was just another blip on his map of so-called haunted places, a sad place nonetheless, which he acknowledged. But the way he narrates it -- with that trying-too-hard, wistful voice -- it just seems like the depth of what this place means did not really hit him. It seems like it was just a stop on the map. Aokigahara is a place where people have gone to end their lives. It should not just amount to another passing Youtube video, a horror story short. It deserves a lot more respect and a heavier gravity that I did not find in this video. Sorry.

HorrorStudio1 I appreciate your honesty, and self reflection, and respect of this place and the people that suffer and die there for reasons most will never understand. So many videos on here of people going for no other reason than to get pictures of death. Even though all that is right in front of people, they are still disconnected, as if that body is nothing more than a fake prop. They never stop to think that it is reality, in its most brutal form. That was somebodies family member. That was somebody, that lived and breathed and suffered, and it is the depth of disrespect of those who go to desecrate, and joke, and make videos to entertain their friends. It deserves respect. Great job on your part.

if you go off the path over one of the (no entry signs) you will start hearing a woman screams every now and then... (for some reason you don't hear male screams) the forest makes you see things it distracts you and lours you deeper and deeper into the forest until your clueless about where you are and what way to go and how your gonna get out you literally lose your mind and if your lost when its dark theres a good chance you wont make it through night

Worst story telling ever. Actually, lamest story ever.

1:00 I can relate xD
-
good thing he put "real photo" caps on the first pictures, Lord knows I couldn't have figured it out without that

The stories are true. The forest is real. My son was stationed in Japan and one of the things he was told upon entering base was ..... DO NOT GO INTO THE SUICIDE FOREST! Of course, he was told much more but the gist is enough. Do not go into the forest.
I call bullshit on the whole thing.
You suck at narrating and obviously are a terrible liar who doesn't fact check either.
