My jump was scheduled at 9am on 4th July 2015. Checking out from my capsule hotel in Shinjuku at 6:05am, arrived the dropzone at 8:45am. Due to the unfavourable weather conditions, we waited for almost an hour. I was pretty chilled the entire time until someone made an announcement over an intercom in Japanese. Those pro-skydivers started putting their jumpsuits on and final-checking their equipments. I then soon meet Denis my tandem master. Our training lasts for less than 5 minutes. Now it’s time to roll. After 20 mins, we reach 14,000 ft and the pilot signals green light. After seeing 4 pro-skivers varnish right in front of me. I sit on Denis’s lap as instructed, he slowly slides us to the edge of the opening. My cameraflyer gets out and we finally get into the position. I’m already dangling out of an airplane. Denis counts to 3. Whooooosh we’re out! HOLY $&^&£*@# !!!! I know i’m falling but It doesn’t feel like falling. I see i’m getting closer to the cloud. I can feel tons of wind blowing at my face. It feels like i’m floating. About 60 seconds pass, it’s time to open the parachute. Denis pulls the cord, the chute opens, we jerk upward then dramatically slow down. He steers us back to the landing zone. I will definitely do it again! Sorry mum.
