-
Jen. I just love you. This was beautiful.
That is all x -
I love book dedications.
I teared up at the dedication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Then a bit when I read the dedications of The Series of Unfortunate Events series.
But the dedications that you read were so good! -
I love this so much! Book dedications are one of the first things I look at when I get a book. So many good ones here 💜
-
I love these videos....dedications are so entertaining and inspiring and yet, so often overlooked
-
Hyperbole is the best. I bought a copy just for that dedication.
-
my heart warms up every time I see the Abundance of Katherines dedication
-
"The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland and Led the Revels There" by Catherynne M. Valente: 'For everyone who has taken a chance on a girl with a funny name and her flying Library. Let the Revel begin.'
-
Loved it! I love, love dedications!

One of my favourites, not because I agree with the sentiment but rather because it brings up interesting questions as to the role of the reader, is J.D Salinger's dedication in Raise High the Roof Beams, Carpenters: Seymour an Introduction. 'If there is an amateur reader still left in the world — or anybody who just reads and runs — I ask him or her, with untellable affection and gratitude, to split the dedication of this book four ways with my wife and children.'
