I dont get it how americans think taking your shoes of is Japanese culture.. Its common sense not to drag in crap from the outside where you live. Why would you do that?? Its easier to say americans dont take their shoes of in their home..

I think the size is not a problem at all, plus you live next to train station anyway, which is very good!
-
i think your microwave doubles as an oven if im not mistaken
-
how much do you pay for rent?
-
I have a room the size of your entire apartment for just shoes
-
Bruce Willis had an apartment like this in the movie "The fifth element".
-
About the shoe thing, tell me the truth. When you are in the apartment by yourself, do you really bother taking them off right away? LOL
-
From what I can tell, 85000 yen is pretty standard for an apartment that size, especially given its location. Ikebukuro and Mejiro are both stops on the Yamanote line, which is the busiest train line in Tokyo. Any apartment close to one of those stations, let alone two of them, is prime real estate and would probably cost a little more. I've only been looking at apartment prices in Tokyo for two or three months, though, so I'm by no means an expert.
-
where do you live exactly because 85000 a month is pretty expensive especially for a smallappartment like this
-
I live in Abilene, Texas in the United States, and I'm one of those people who take off my shoes whenever I enter my home. I like the way Japanese and Koreans do it. I started doing the same several years ago. I even refuse to let anyone into my apartment, including my parents, without taking their shoes off. It's a hastle to vaccum the unwanted dirt in my living room because of lazy people.

You cant use the microwave cause its in japanese???

Dude! that's crazy tiny as heck, but its cool, its cool.
