For crowded subway stations, there should be a dedicated platform located in between the tracks exclusively for passengers to disembark (for trains at both directions). However, passengers waiting on the main platform for arriving trains have no access to them because of one-way turnstiles built for those platforms. When trains arrived, the doors on that side will open first, then they'll close after all passengers exits the train. Then the doors at the other side will open for the main platform for passengers to enter the train without any jostles. This is a construction styling that should be incorporated in busy train stations all over the world.

Parece o metro aqui de sao paulo.
