Going from 23 to 28, did you have to use a bigger inner tube and new wheel?
-
where can We buy this pump
-
how do your 28s feel on the road? or off the road for that matter
-
Last week I tried to install a pair of Continental Grand Prix 4000S II 700x28c in to a 2016 Tarmac Comp Carbon size 58 and didn't work (by very little). No clearance in the back with the standard Fulcrum S-19 wheels. Just ordered a wider wheel set to try again... (I think that the Fulcrum S-19 is 19 out and 15mm internal; ordered a R 32 from dt-swiss with 18mm internal and 23 external).

have same issues with 28 iwill be going back to 23 ive havent felt any difference be tween the two thank you for the info

Next time inflate the inner tube some, it will make fitting the outer one more easy and correct.
-
Very helpful, thank you.

Just cause they clear in the bike stand doesn't mean they will work. Under hard pedaling efforts there is a good chance it could still rub in the rear.
-
thanks
-
I guess mine are backwards!I'll change them in the next few days!

Hi mate. What year is your Tarmac? I have a 2009 tarmac but the shop said that 29c won't fit so I got the specialized s works turbo 26c instead.
-
I'm just going to 25's from 23's. Used to ride on 18's, then 20's, then 23's. Funny how things change.
-
my bike came with 23mm tyres, would it be no problem to change to 28s? or do I have to buy new wheels in order it to fit? sorry im new to cycling
-
Any problems with the tire fit while riding? Rubbing while cornering, etc? My Tarmac is a 2008 but it looks identical. I'm thinking of putting on 28s for the Belgian Waffle Ride this spring. I never would have thought they'd fit, but it looks like they might!

try pumping your tube up a tiny bit helps with reducing pitch flats :D
-
Sweet vid man it helped a lot
