SNTV Features Roger Clemens says he hasn't yet decided whether to retire from baseball but will definitely be on the mound on Friday for game one of the 2004 MLB-NPB All-Star series kicking off in Tokyo. In what could be his final outing, Clemens is leading a team of major league stars against a side from the host Japanese league for an eight game series that began with a baseball exchange between the two countries in 1908. Earlier in the day, Clemens and his Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Jack Wilson stopped by a Tokyo elementary school and were feted with a reception at the US embassy by the American ambassador. SUGGESTED VOICEOVER: Major League players Roger Clemens of the Houston Astros and the Pittsburgh Pirates Jack Wilson were introduced to some Japanese culture on Friday in Tokyo. The two took part in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony hours before they were due to play the first of an eight game exhibition series pitting a taem of MLB All-Starts against their equivalents in the Japanese league. Clemens, who came out of retirement and pitched his hometown Houston Astros to within one game of their first-ever World Series, has hinted that this tour may be his last appearance as a big league player. But while he contemplates whether to end his Hall of Fame career, Clemens plans to enjoy his time in Japan with a major league squad that includes the likes of Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz and Moises Alou. After penning "ball' in Japanese characters, Clemens signed off with his signature "Rocket" before staging an impromptu baseball clinic and question and answer session with Wilson for their young audience. Later Clemens and some of his major league mates were feted with a reception at the United States embassy in Tokyo by US ambassador to Japan James Baker, who was presented with commemorative bat by the Rocket.
