Mika Goes To Tokyo - Day 58 (ε) | Tokyo
Information | History | View | Sightseeing | Video
"Are you gonna miss my pancakes, babe?" - You're watching YouTube's newest Japanese/English daily vlog from the film capital of America, Los Angeles, California. ~ Golden State Saga (8/5/12) ~ I took Mika to LAX airport today around 2 and left around 3. She was there super early, but we never know how early to go. She'll be in Tokyo for about a month, and we'll be including footage from her every day. As much as she is willing to shoot for us. :D [onegai Mika-rin] I feel so lonely and it hasn't even been 24 hours since I saw her. Join us tomorrow to see if Jerry can survive alone in: Death By Snack Overconsumption ~ OR ~ I Got In The Shower Without My Towel

Thank you for the video, thumbs up

I think I've heard that translated literally it means something like "I humbly receive." And it is a way to express gratitude to the host, to a greater power, to the farmers or whoever enabled you to eat. However, I think for a lot of people, it is simply a set phrase. Kind of like we say bless you when someone sneezes, without really intending to bless anyone.

I didn't know what that meant at 3:50. I'm half Japanese from America, and my grandparents always say it before they eat. I never knew what it meant. Also, I'm interested in learning Japanese, how long did it take you to get as good as you are? Or how long do you think it would take to speak enough to get by? Love your videos, keep them going!

Keep making parking videos man. The world needs to know!

I give all cuteness credits to Mika.

Sure, I'll play something. I'll try and play something this weekend. But go easy on me.

Totally man, more breat at Subway in Japan.
-
I've watched about 7 vids and I truly hope you and Mika stay passionate about being with each other.
-
Awesome! We are glad to have you.

I only had Subway a few times in Japan, it was very different. They seem to put a lot more emphasis on the bread than on the ingredients. HAha! I'll be exercising!
-
Cool. Looking forward to it/them. :)

What a sweet note she left you bro. Very cool! I miss Subway sandwiches in Canada, but they are pretty good in Japan too. Just really hard to find here. That curry looks awesome! Dude, you gotta eat seconds if you're hungry, if you want to lose weight, eat properly and exercise bro. Cool that she is in Japan already! Hahaha what a cute dog! LOL that made me laugh at the end too, when Mika said おやすみ on the computer! =) Nice video!

I remember the curry my former gf Iko used to make for me. She taught me how to make it too but it's been many years since I made any. I have some pictures of the trains I drive and some movie footage of the tunnels from inside the cab ( I wasn't driving it at the time should be ok to show ) I shot Monday before service. No camcorder yet dslr hd footage though. I hope power director ten is fairly simple to use. Thanks for sharing! Rob
