they should have made a game about a msf solder trying to survive after modherbase got attack and after 9 years joining diamond dogs
-
what if David Hayter was casted into this? XD
-
It would be a lot more forgivable of it WAS a DLC
-
It's the Undead Nightmare of MGSV, but advertised as a new game.
-
you're focusing too much on the missing Solid part of the title and survival is literally the only thing missing in TPP, it's a good idea for an add on or spin off like they've stated clearly several times. It's like saying the Cell saga of DBZ isn't Z because too much similarities to previous seasons. doesn't make a lick of sense.
-
It should of been DLC and not an actual game who else agrees?
-
i will buy this game if its free

I don't care, I'm pretty excited.
All of the people saying that this is just the same old shit really have got no fucking idea what they're talking about. Metal Gear Survive looks like a fresh and fun take on zombie survival that isn't just another wave shooter, Minecraft clone or PVP game with zombies thrown in. I'm pretty excited to give it a shot.
I also have no doubt that people would be eating this up had Kojima come up with it, because that's what people do. Konami's made a bunch of dumb decisions over the past 2 years. That doesn't mean you've got to lose all objectivity. -
I look at this and I see a waste of such a god damn good game engine.
-
I'm 100% not interested in this game. It's a little bit offensive to me to watch Konami try to parley their Metal Gear name for something that's not a Metal Gear game. Don't get me wrong, it would still be a sad looking game if it didn't actually use the name Metal Gear.

I thought established that this is a metal gear solid five universe game and not a sequel, as you can see these so-called zombie like soldiers are being Fultoned away, which could mean since they did explain that the transition through the wormhole has caused a unnatural mutation to a lot of the MSF soldiers, maybe the survivors have figured out a way to prevent that or send them back into the regular world. They could be why there's soldier that we find wandering. There's more to this then I believe

Yong i like you man.. But if you buy this crap im gonna be sooo disapointed este juego es una estafa.
-
I'll just keep playing Phantom Pain thank you.
-
I'm beginning to really look forward to this... I'm still disappointed that there is missing content in MGS V (return to Camp Omega, mission 51, 'ground breaking mechanic' - if anyone knows what this mechanic was please tell me) and wish this development time was instead spent on MGS V story dlc (perhaps exploring new areas & characters - a young Solid Snake). At the same time I'm just grateful that Konami are at least making something... And who knows, a couple years down the line perhaps we'll get a few remasters :-)

I think what we are looking at here is some sort of different reality where big boss fails or perhaps never wakes up from his come and initially dies in the hospital. Like you said it's essentially Afghanistan but post apocalyptic sort of like skull face succeeded and now the world is infected and people are turning into these monsters like the skulls. I think it's essentially the future and maybe if skull face had succeeded he was trying to capture motherbase or something along those lines I know I might be looking too far into it but I think that would be a cool story. I'm moderately interested to see where this game goes but like you said it's still not metal gear game without Kojima
-
I think it's good for them to separate from Kojima's work while still producing games with a fantastic engine that has proven itself in the past. It honestly looks really good, and I'm surprised, because I didn't enjoy MGSV. I understand all of the hate for Konami, but this game looks really fun and if you forget your feelings for the company, people would buy it in a heartbeat. It is something new, using the same engine doesn't discredit that. All of the Batman games are made on Unreal and have the same foundations for their mechanics and animations, but that doesn't mean the next Batman Arkham game isn't new, or should be an expansion. I think it's your conflicting emotions for Kojima/Konami that makes you more hesitant than you would be otherwise.
-
Yong, your hockey! It's huge!
-
Why are they sneaking around zombies? Like it looks so goofy. It's like they made a whole game on the boring side ops where you go shoot the puppets
-
The gameplay looks generic as fuck, the assets are obviously recycled; Honestly, I think I'm gonna skip on Survive. Maybe I'll get it if I see it pop up on Steam's summer sale, but there's just nothing about this game that blows me away. Like Yong said, it's not terrible looking, but there's nothing special about it either. It just looks "meh...."
