Oh, if only I could afford so much manga volumes every few weeks.

Nice pickups! I'm looking to get Battle Royale the manga, I already have the original movie.
-
Very cool stuff :) still need to pick up one piece 72 ! Lol also picked up AOT 13 and I'm buying some more manga soon ... I also have the first 2 ultimate editions of battle royale ... I may just get the third and read the rest online

Sweet pickups man! Gotta love that 20th Century Boys! Whats pretty cool is I actually got a lot of GTO delivered to my house today! Same spines as yours and everything! I've been really wanting to get into watamote since it came out. I'll need to get some this month. Keep making videos man! I enjoy seeing them!

Nice pickups mans. I really need to get into Century Boys, seems like everyone is saying its good so why not xD

Congrats on hitting 900 volumes!

Is Dragon Head a good manga to read ?
-
Woop! A new video! I'm always happy whenever I see a new video from you.
Onto your pickups:
Yeah, the price for the Ultimate Editions of Battle Royale is a killer. I personally have the singles and I don't regret it for a minute.
You're almost done with that Dragon Head. I'd like to hear your thoughts when you read it, I don't know many people who have and I've only read one review of it.
GTO is such a long series. I want to pick it up, but I'll probably watch the anime first.
Watamote is supposed to be pretty funny, but I plan to watch the anime first (just came out on DVD if you're interested), though one of my good friends absolutely loves it.
Blood Lad is a cool series, I've only read up to the third book, but it's enjoyable. The only problem is that it takes absolutely forever for a new book to come out. Also, we're pretty much caught up with the Japanese release, because the volumes are 2-in-1s and Japan's at 11. Gonna take a while for the next one to come out.
Woop Woop! D-Frag, can't believe that you actually picked it up! You won't regret it, it's brilliant comedy. (I'd hate for you to hate one of the things I recommended you, you'd never trust my opinion again.)
One Piece is pretty great, enough said. How far in are you? I remember you saying you didn't like Fishman Island all too much.
Noragami's anime was cool. Haven't read the manga.
Attack on Titan... what is there to say?
Nisekoi's cool, but it starts to get repetitive and drags on. I can honestly see it ending very soon.
Nura doesn't get enough love. I can understand why people dislike it, but I personally really enjoy it.
Seraph of the End... I don't know anything about it, so...
Man, I should really read 20th Century Boys someday before the volumes all go OOP.
Biomega... not much to say...
I'm currently reading through Slam Dunk, and when I finish I'm definitely gonna go after Real. Takehiko Inoue is great.
Solanin is a great read, you can easily get through it in a sitting. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it when you eventually get to it.
What a Wonderful World's alright, but what I really want is Oyasumi Punpun, from the same author. I have no idea why Viz (or anyone else for that matter) never released it, it's consistently among the Top 10 Manga on MAL, one of if not the largest website for use of anime fans. (If you're curious about this list, you can find it here: http://myanimelist.net/topmanga.php.)
Onto manga recommendations, I can't really give too many this time since I haven't been reading much manga lately and most of what I have you already own, but I'd say you should definitely check out Black Lagoon if you want a realistic gritty action series.
Also, maybe check out some works from CLAMP, I particularly like Chobits.
In addition, instead of reading the Stand Alone Complex spinoff series from Ghost in the Shell, you may want to start with the original instead.
Also, Genshiken is an interesting and entertaining series. Not too much action occurs (not any really), it's more of a series about the characters, but they're all interesting and enjoyable to read about.
Onto anime, I'm sure that there are many people who would say that it's a masterpiece (myself included), but I would say hold off from watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica. While, again, it is amazing, you should watch or read more series of the Magical Girl genre to truly gain an appreciation for what it does.
Any work from Satoshi Kon is good. You can take your pick.
Also, Mamoru Hosoda's Wolf Children and Summer Wars are both amazing anime movies.
Well, that's all for today. Man, I keep leaving long comments every time, sorry about that.
Until next time. -
I got a really good question: So recently i have been considering buying the One piece Manga, but my problem is that its so long that i feel im going to be taking a long time to catch up, i used to watch the anime got to around Ep.180, but i have placed it on hold to catch up on other stuff. So do you think it would be worth it in getting into one piece considering how long it is? By the way I would start from the very beginning.
Also i really love watching these pick up videos, it always gives me ideas of what to try out when it comes to finding a new series to get into. -
Noragami is a very good series :)

-
Dude when are u updating your top 10 list I'm dying here. I wanna see your new one lol
-
Im glad you got more One Piece, that series is pure greatness. Oh and another tokyopop series you should try out is Rave Master by Hiro Mashima (before he did Fairy Tail), its a 35 volume series and i have the first 3 volumes and its really good so far the setting and character relate alot to One Piece and the designs are very cool and distinct, the downside is that almost every volume is very hard to find because tokyopop went out of print, but if you do find any volume anywhere for a good price definitely pick it up its worth the purchase.
-
