Thanks again for the info. It might be worth comparing exchange rates of several countries before planning a vacation so you can pick a location where you will get the most out of your money
-
As of today 1 USD is worth 120 Yen, so that's much better then when you made this video.

Rumor, rumor, the Dollar-Yen exchange is going to 1-200, in the next few years. Right now, as of September 12, 2014 it's 1-107.

One thing I don't really understand, If you go so often in a foreign country, why do you change your currency at airports? They ripping you off like hell. Just go to the local exchange dealer in your town, or go to a bank if it's possible, and you will get +20-30% easily. At least I travel a lot in europe and e.g. for a dollar at a hungarian airport/train station you'll get like 140-150 HUFs, but if you just go into a mall you get like 190-200. But if you manage to find an exchange office outside a mall, like in the main streets that will give you 210-220 for your same one dollar. And everywhere I go It's like that, so next time change a minimal amount in the USA or in japan for one day, and than go to a normal dealer as soon as you can.

It's so nice that there are universal number symbols on Japanese yen. American coins must be so confusing to foreigners.
-
1 Euro = 141 Yen. Pretty good.
-
so....as a newbie to japanese currency, all you do is essencially move an imaginary decimal point over from the right hand side regarding to dollars....ie....100 yen is 1.00 dollar.....1000 yen is 10.00 dollars, 25,000 yen is 25.00 dollars? thats easy!
-
x3 1:178 British Pound to Yen, good times.

Thats pretty good yeah.
-
