Area: Asakusa, Tokyo Feature: Kaminarimon Sensoji is Tokyo's oldest temple. Kaminarimon is there at the entrance of the Senso-ji Temple. The official name of Kaminarimon is “Fujin-Raijin” Gate. Fujin on the right side of the gate, and Raijin is placed on the left side. A large lantern, one of the landmarks of Asakusa, hung in the center of the gate.
